Grace Hiltunen

M. Business Administration, Alfred University

Grace brings a unique perspective to architecture through her background in business, fine arts, and community development. She earned a Master of Business Administration in 2023 following a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alfred University, where her studies focused on sustainable community businesses and development. Her approach is rooted in relationship-building, community impact, and long-term sustainability alongside the normative methodology.

Following graduate school, Grace served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, helping establish a Village Savings and Loan Association that supported financial empowerment and local entrepreneurship. After returning to the United States, she found her home in the North Country, where her passion for sustainable practices and strengthening community networks led her to BMA.

Outside of the office, Grace enjoys hiking, climbing, paddling, volunteering, competing in triathlons, and staying connected to the outdoor community that first drew her to the Adirondacks.
